Kenneth Bordewick: Stylist to The Royal Family

HollywoodNews.com: Want to know more about style and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge? We have the inside connection all style watchers want. Royal Interior Designer to the Stars, Kenneth Bordewick is ready to dish on how he was able to blend Royal design elegance and modern style for major celebrities and royal families all over the world.

Kenneth Bordewick is a top designer who has designed for Prince Charles. He is the founder of his own design company, Beverly Hills Luxury Interiors. Kenneth is the one designer in the world who knows what it’s like to be awarded the job of creating design upgrades for royal residences such as the Kensington Palace library.

Bordewick has been the “go to” interior designer for many other royal families including: HRH Bianca De Savoy, Crowned Princess of Italy and HRH, His Majesty, King Fahd of Saudi Arabia. Bordewick has also been selected to create designs for top celebrities including: Michael Jackson, Donald Trump, Sir Paul McCartney, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt.

As one of the world’s leading interior designers, Bordewick knows exactly how to create royal style. This includes his work with the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.

In collaboration with designer Giovanni Maria Malerba di Busca, Bordewick designed a fifteen foot, red velvet couch, with 24kt gold overlay. “It was quite elegant,” says Bordewick. “We also designed a chair Michael Jackson wanted for his friend Elizabeth Taylor, where the collar of the chair was overflowing with Marabou feathers.”

Why is Kenneth Bordewick in such demand? Kenneth says, “I always get a feel for each personality, and spend time with them to get to know their needs and taste before I design their homes.” He says, “The challenge for Royals is to incorporate their modern desire for style, but to preserve centuries of their families heritage.” As for designing with top celebrities in the world, Bordewick says, “They want the latest, one of a kind items in their home, and state of the art electronic devices.”
