Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino slapped with $1M lawsuit

By Kim Palacios Gotham NYC Entertainment, the former managers of Jersey Shore’s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, filed suit against the reality star on Friday, citing breach of contract. Though the company admits it was fired for “lack of performance,” it says it still has a legitimate claim against Sorrentino for failing to uphold a 30 days notice agreement before cutting ties.

Sorrentino also made news this week amid rumors that he was considering a departure from “Jersey Shore,” a story that remains highly speculative. Though US Weekly reported it, and Perez Hilton added fuel to the fire, the star is known to have future projects–most notably, an MTV reality show spinoff starring only him–to fall back on should he decide to leave “Jersey Shore”.
