Steven Spielberg shares international “Tintin” trailer

By Sean O’Connell Steven Spielberg’s animated, motion-captured “Tintin” is going to be in interesting sell to U.S. audiences, where the character has no real fan base to speak of and the movie, for the most part, will be sold on the director’s name.

At the same time, he’ll be busy promoting his live-action “War Horse” around the same time “The Adventures of Tintin” opens (December), so marketing materials for this one will have to be strong.

We saw a teaser trailer earlier this summer. Now we’re getting our first look at an international trailer for Spielberg’s “Tintin,” where the character’s already beloved.

Here it is. What are your thoughts? Are you excited for this film? If not, tell us why.
