Harry Potter stars walk the red carpet in New York City

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson and the stars of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2” walked the red carpet on a scorching hot evening in New York City as the franchise prepared to bid farewell to its legion of faithful fans.

And we were there.

To their credit, Radcliffe, Watson and Grint spent most of their time with the fans, many of who held up signs stating they had been camped there for a week waiting to catch a glimpse at the actors who brought these beloved characters to life.

These are a few of the photos we grabbed during our red carpet experience. We’ll have much more footage, including a “Deathly Hallows” review, as the week progresses.

Farewell, Harry. And thanks for everything!
