Halle Berry granted restraining order against stalker

By Sean O’Connell Richard Franco’s going to need a new hobby, because he isn’t allowed to stalk Halle Berry anymore.

The Oscar-winning actress won a temporary restraining order against Franco late Monday in Los Angeles after two off-duty police officers spotted the stalker “climbing over a security gate at Berry’s Beverly Hills … home,” E! Online reports.

Berry reportedly saw Franco trying to scale a wall on her property on Saturday, and later reported him peeking through her kitchen door on Sunday. Busy weekend for Berry and her stalker!

E! Online adds that Franco has a criminal record, having been recently jailed on a battery charge. There will be a hearing on Aug. 1 for these new charges, where it will be determined if the temporary restraining order can be made permanent.
