Lady Gaga under fire for wheelchair performance

HollywoodNews.com: Lady Gaga definitely marches to the beat of her own drum, a move that may now have some people upset with a recent performance.

Gaga has reportedly upset some after performing in a wheelchair during a song for her concert in Sydney, Australia, states RadarOnline.com. Founder of the Life Rolls On Foundation, Jesse Billauer, is one person who doesn’t think the move was a smart or considerate one.

“I invite her to learn more about the 5.6 million Americans who live with paralysis. They, like me, unfortunately, don’t use a wheelchair for shock value,” Billauer commented.

Other advocates have agreed that the wheelchair should not be used to shock her audiences.

Do you think Lady Gaga went too far?

I say if you don’t like it, don’t watch it. You can’t please the world, and some people will always find something to whine/gripe about….it’s not as if she’s intentionally mocking handicapped people. Ridiculous. Again, nobody is forcing you to watch anything. It’s a choice.
