“Glee” 3D concert film gets new trailer

By Sean O’Connell Couldn’t make it to the “Glee” concert tour as it made its way across the United States this summer. Never fear, because the cast and crew is about to come to a movie theater screen near you.

“Glee: The 3D Concert Movie” continues to tease audiences as it prepares for its opening next month. First there was an advanced ticket sale for “Gleeks” on a special Web site. And now there’s a new trailer. Peep it below:

The “Glee” movie looks like it mirrors the Justin Bieber film, giving us a healthy blend of behind-the-scenes footage with the cast and live, on-stage performances. If it’s lucky, it will make Bieber-level bucks, as well.

The film opens Friday, Aug. 12, alongside “The Help” and “30 Minutes of Less.” Then the show returns for its third season in the fall.
