“Footloose” fan contest could get you to the premiere

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Paramount Pictures wants you to cut loose – Footloose – for a chance to win a trip to the red-carpet premiere of Craig Brewer’s “Footloose” remake.

All you need to do is create and upload a video of you displaying your best dance moves on www.FootlooseMovie.com. Convince enough of your friends to vote your dance as the best of the Web, and you could be dancing with the stars at the film’s premiere.

Brewer’s film updates the classic Kevin Bacon coming-of-age drama about a rebellious teenager who runs into opposition in a small town that doesn’t want teenagers to dance. Kenny Wormald will be the new Ren for the next generation, while Julianne Hough, Dennis Quaid and Andie MacDowell round out the cast.

The movie opens on Oct. 14, but get on your dance videos ASAP and you just might win. Visit the film’s official Web site for more details, and good luck!
