‘Housewives of NYC’ fight about etiquette at reunion

HollywoodNews.com: When the ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ get together for their upcoming reunion show, etiquette is one of the main topics of conversation.

Sonja Morgan and newcomer Cindy Barshop get into it over taking a phone call during breakfast, states People. Cindy took the call at Sonja’s and doesn’t feel like she did anything wrong.

However, Sonja is still upset and resident etiquette expert Countess LuAnn de Lesseps agrees that taking a call during breakfast at someone else’s home is wrong.

But Cindy does have Kelly Bensimon on her side: “She’s a working woman with two kids. … If I came to your house and I had a call, I would take it. Sorry.”

I do feel it was rude to take the call. If she was so busy with a conference call scheduled she should have politely declined the invitation.

It is incredible that you dub Luanne the arbiter of etiquet. She openly cavorts with a man to whom she is not married, puts herself in the public eye as an entertainer in riske situations, encourages disunion among the other castmates and thinks little about the effect any of this will have on her children.+—As far as the toaster oven breakfast, we wonder what idiot scripted this.

Cindy is horrible in all ways. She is just plain rude.

It was definitely rude of Cindy to take the call in the kitchen while Sonja was preparing breakfast. What was totally classless was the fact that Cindy shushed Sonja as the preparation noises were disturbing her phone call. She should have had the decency to take the call in another room, and cut the call short, saying she was in a breakfast meeting. If she’s such a driven career woman, she shouldn’t accept invitations from friends during the workday. I”d like to comment on Elaine’s post as well. LuAnn is a grown woman who is single and there is nothing wrong with “cavorting” with one man who is her boyfriend.

If the call was important I can understand her taking it. But, she should have excused herserlf first.
