John Cusack’s “The Raven” scores a bloody poster

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: James McTeigue’s “The Raven” is one of the films we’re most looking forward to next spring. As materials surface, it’s looking more and more like a cross between The Hughes Brothers’ “From Hell” and Guy Ritchie’s recent “Sherlock Holmes” reboot, only with John Cusack playing horror novelist Edgar Allan Poe as he tracks a serial killer who is copying crimes written in Poe’s books. McTeigue’s “The Raven” is shaping up to be a thrilling dose of popcorn cinema nestled in the middle of the bright and shiny spring season. Now we’re anxious to see a trailer. The film opens everywhere on March 9, 2012. Man, I wish it were sooner.
