Neil Patrick Harris slams “Real Housewives of NY” post-reunion

HollywoodNews.com: Well, I don’t write much about it but I have been obsessed with The Real Housewives of New York this season.

Love Countess Luann, love Jill and like Cindy. Not crazy about Kelly, used to like Sonja more and go hot and cold on Alex. Can’t stand Ramona but realize the show would not be near as much fun without her craziness. She seemed to be hitting below the belt regarding Luann’s kids so it makes you realize how low she can go and you also got the feeling her pregnancy drama in the season finale was manufactured to get screen time. I mean, she’s 55!

Anyway, part one of the RHONY aired tonight on Bravo (a 90-minute part 2 airs next Monday) and it was an absolute brawl. Nobody came off well as they all tried to talk over each other – constantly.

Following the reunion broadcast, Neil Patrick Harris joined Andy Cohen as the sole guest on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live.

He watched the reunion and said “it was like a migraine headache…. It was terrible behavior.”

NPH singled out Alex referring to her as “the Frankensteiny one” adding that “all of the blonds are trouble.”

He had this advice for Cohen regarding the NY cast: “You need to eliminate all of them and start from scratch … Get people who have more to do in their life than create conflict.”

But he does not have disdain for them all admitting: “I kind of like Kelly.”

Neil Patrick Harris nailed it. The blonds, especially Ramona and Alex were atrocious. Alex looked like a panting dog and gave her usual distorted facial expressions that made you want to go through the screen and smack her silly.

Does Ramona really think she’s helping sell her product lines by acting like a crazy old alkie? There has been too much of her and her dog Alex, who does whatever Ramona tell her. Its ruining the franchise.

100% agree with Neil! I mean Alex just dropped to a new LOW this season. He got it right, she was behaving like Frankenstein’s bride or something.

Ramona, well she stooped too LOW with Lu Ann’s kids. I think without Alex in the picture, things might have gone better. But Ramona makes it hard.

Everyone else, I feel would kind of get along if they tried. Nobody has anything REALLY against Sonja, and she for one would do herself A LOT OF GOOD, by becoming friends with the other four. Well, she can still dislike Cindy and it’s her right to do so.

I absolutely felt sorry for Andy Cohen in the reunion. Too bad these women are so classless!!! I think the Countess is right when she says money can’t buy it!!! Cindy should leave the show. She’s an idiot. A conference call while Sonya makes her breakfast!! Sorry…I’m a brunette female from Texas, but the only brunette I like is LuAnne!! Blondes…I like Alex because she seems to at least take her friendships seriously and will stick up for them even if it causes her issues with the other ladies! I loved Bethany, miss her…and Kelly is an idiot…not sure why she came back, why should she even have a word to say about Sonya’s house! Horrible and mean! Sonya…for Gods sake leave her alone! She’s trying…stop talking about her financial problems, and for Ramona…not totally a fan, but Jill shouldn’t talk about her husband having an affair. It’s just mean.
