By Kim Palacios
hollywoodnews.com: In a tweet that radiated annoyance and apology, rapper 50 Cent announced that his new album won’t be released due to refusal on the part of his record label, Interscope. Tweeted the rapper on Tuesday, “Man I’m not releasing a album i can’t believe interscope is this f*cked up right now. I apologize to all my fans.” In a separate tweet, the rapper continued, “I will work with other artist on [their] projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time [too] many.”
The album, to have been called “Black Magic” had been touted by the rapper as the 2011 “Get Rich or Die Tryin’,” which reached #1 on the Billboard 200 as well as the Billboard R&B charts after its release in 2003.
After replying to fans who sympathized with him, 50 Cent commented on the issue once again today, tweeting “I’m gonna finish writing the film I promised to release with the album. Ill shoot it in sept I’m gonna put energy into that.”
