Kings of Leon reschedule Dallas and Houston Concerts for 9/21 and 9/22

By Kim Palacios

hollywoodnews.com: Following a peculiar walk-off during Friday night’s Dallas show, which involved Kings of Leon singer Caleb Followill claiming he was “going backstage for a second” to deal with heat exhaustion and neglecting to return, the band has rescheduled the abandoned show for September 21st. It was not only Friday night’s Dallas show, but also Saturday night’s Houston show that the band failed to play, following events that seemed to have more than heat exhaustion at play. The Houston show has been rescheduled for September 22nd.

To the band’s credit, Texas has been experiencing punishing heat and humidity, with temperatures easily into the hundreds. Yet, bandmate Jared Followill tweeted in an apologetic note to fans that more than heat exhaustion was at play.
