Mike Myers confirmed for a fourth Austin Powers movie

Hollywoodnews.com: Are you ready to shag again, baby?

You better be, because Mike Myers is hopping back into his Austin Powers role for a fourth go-round, as reported by HitFix.

With the “Shrek” franchise drawing to a close and Myers’ “Love Guru” bombing, one had to expect that the comedian would drift back to his most successful comedic character, who hasn’t been on screen since 2002’s “Goldmember.”

Drew McWeeny didn’t have plot details, though I’m hoping that, much like “Mad Men,” we see Myers’ shagadelic spy tackling a different generation. Given the amount of time that has passed, it seems the hero is ripe for an adventure through the 1980s? And we have to assume that Myers also will reprise his role as Dr. Evil, Powers’ nemesis.

We’ll continue to track the progress of a new Austin Powers movie, but for now, are you excited?
