Batman “Arkham City” reveals Mr. Freeze trailer

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: How many villains will the anticipated Batman video game “Arkham City” actually have?

With each new marketing piece released ahead of the October release date, we hear more and more about bad guys the Dark Knight faces off against. We’ve heard plenty about Catwoman’s involvement in the game, and have even seen game-play footage of the feline fighter in action. Two-Face reportedly will be in the game, while Game Informer magazine dropped the news in its most recent preview that The Penguin would play a vital role, explaining that the game designers were taking a more realistic approach to the criminal. There also has been a Riddler trailer. And you know The Joker will show his clown face at some point.

And now, a new trailer reveals the presence of Mr. Freeze. Is it criminal overload? Or are you looking forward to taking on all of these classic baddies once the game hits shelves on October 18?

If “Arkham City” is half as good as its predecessor, “Arkham Asylum,” then we are in for a glorious treat. And watch the clip below. Tell me the snow flurries don’t remind you of the Pittsburgh footage we have been seeing from Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises” film.

Talk about synergy.
