Tom Cruise’s “One Shot” adds Rosamund Pike

Hollywoodnews.com: The versatile and beautiful Rosamund Pike, so excellent in “Barney’s Version” and a co-star in “An Education,” has been tapped to play Tom Cruise’s leading lady for the planned thriller “One Shot.”
An adaptation of a Lee Child novel, “One Shot” casts Cruise as Jack Reacher, a military veteran turned investigator brought in to investigate a man who claims he didn’t assassinate five people in a heartland city.
THR, which confirms Pike’s casting, says the actress nudged out Hayley Atwell (“Captain America: The First Avenger”) and “Clash of the Titans actress” Alexa Davalos. Pike even screen-tested over the weekend with Christopher McQuarrie, who will direct.
“One Shot” is looking to film in Pittsburgh this fall.

The talented Rosamund Pike is lovely, gorgeous, sexy and beautiful. I love her. She’s a really sweet girl. She should have joined the A-list years ago. I hope she does more American mainstream movies from now on.
