Josh Groban to guest star on yet another hit show: “The Office”

By Kim Palacios

hollywoodnews.com: Josh Groban will be making yet another guest appearance on a major prime time show—this time as the brother of Ed Helms’ character, Andy Bernard, on “The Office.” The appearance will be the third this year to call upon Groban’s skills as a character actor; most frequently, Groban appears as himself on talk shows or on soundtracks for movies in alignment with his primary talent: singing.

Earlier this year, Groban appeared alongside actress Emma Stone as Richard in “Crazy, Stupid, Love.” He also guest-starred in a 2010 season finale of “Glee.” Groban has been nominated (but never won) a number of awards for movie soundtracks such as “The Polar Express” and “Troy.” His greatest success came from the single “You Raise Me Up,” which reached #1 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart in 2004.
