Britney Spears, Amy Winehouse will allegedly be honored at VMAs

HollywoodNews.com: Not only will Lady Gaga be opening the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday, but Britney Spears and Amy Winehouse will reportedly be honored at the event.

For Spears, it has been rumored that Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Nicki Minaj and Janet Jackson will come together for a musical tribute, states RadarOnline.com. Spears will also reportedly take the stage to show off just why she is being honored.

In case you think Spears is a little young for a tribute, some believe that this is being done just to make sure she shows up at the event.

Along with that, it has already been reported that Tony Bennett will honor Amy Winehouse which will reportedly include never-before-seen footage from their March recording session at London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios.

Will you tune in this weekend?
