Robert Pattinson’s “Cosmopolis” could be screened at Cannes

By Kim Palacios In a brief aside during an interview with Variety about his film “A Dangerous Method”, David Cronenberg mentioned that the forthcoming “Cosmopolis” might be screened at Cannes. The film, currently in post-production, stars Robert Pattinson and is based on a novel by Dom DeLillo. The interview took place at the Venice Film Festival, currently underway.

Also mentioned by Cronenberg was “As She Climbed Across the Table,” a Jonathan Lethem adaptation that is still in script development stages. Cronenberg is best known for “Dead Ringers,” “Naked Lunch,” and “eXistenZ,” and has not had a film shown at Cannes since 2005 with “A History of Violence.”
