Leonardo DiCaprio never paid attention to his own success

HollywoodNews.com: Leonardo DiCaprio’s films are pretty much always a hit, but it seems that he hasn’t really paid that much attention to that side of the industry.

The actor recently revealed to ‘GQ’ that he never tracked how much money his films made, states Hollyscoop. “I never knew which movies of mine made money and which didn’t. When ‘Titanic’ came out, people would say, ‘Do you realize what a success this is?’ And I’d say, ‘Yeah, yeah, it’s a hit,'” DiCaprio admitted.

However, he has since started paying attention to that side now that he is involved in producing: “[P]eople would show me charts explaining what finances a movie, what you’ll make from foreign, what you’ll make from domestic, what you need to make an R-rated film that’s a comedy versus a drama.”

Do you think most actors pay attention to their films and how much they make?
