‘Jersey Shore’ costing New Jersey taxpayers a little ‘Jersey Shore’ has definitely stirred up New Jersey quite a bit, but it seems now it is also going to be costing residents a pretty penny.

Residents will reportedly have to pay about $420,000 in taxes for the original 2009 production of the show, states FOX. The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA) approved a film tax credit for the first season of ‘Jersey Shore.’

State lawmakers are reportedly now speaking out against this decision as they feel it was made without the consideration of what the show is about.

What do you think about this decision?
