Arnold Schwarzenegger releasing memoir in 2012

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: This should be a must-read. Arnold Schwarzenegger reportedly will tell his side of “The Story” when he publishes his memoir in 2012.

Titled “Total Recall” (so awesome), Schwarzenegger’s book will cover his bodybuilding days, his acting career, and his governorship, according to THR. Simon & Schuster will release the book, and is looking at October 2012 as a release date. How many copies do you think will be sitting under Christmas trees next holiday season?

“Truly, Arnold is one of the most fascinating figures of our time, and one of the greatest success stories in the world,” said Jonathan Karp, the publisher of Simon & Schuster, in a statement. “Nobody has a life story even close to his.”

But the trade could not confirm how much Schwarzenegger will reveal about his separation from Maria Shriver and the illegitimate child he fathered with the family’s help.

My advice? If he wants the book to sell, he’ll document some of that in at least a few chapters.
