Jennifer Lopez voted most replaceable “American Idol” judge

By Kim Palacios Ratings turned around for “American Idol” as soon as Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler arrived in Season 10—nonetheless, the Parade 2011 Pop Culture Poll revealed that Lopez, then Tyler, are the two judges fans say the show could most do without.

Wrote Parade, “Seems viewers want to see Jennifer Lopez get off the floor of American Idol. She was voted as the one AI judge folks would most like to see sent packing.” Indeed, Lopez got 40% of the vote, but Tyler came in at a close second with 36%; Season 1 through 10 judge Randy Jackson, with only 24% of the vote, was considered indisposable by most fans.
