Bill Maher makes “It Gets Better” video

HollywoodNews.com: The Real Time With Bill Maher host shares that he was bullied as a kid because of his lack of height in this new It Gets Better video for The Trevor Project.

In addition to being beat up a few times, Maher points out another kind of bullying that he endured that many kids can certainly relate to: “Bullying by ostracism.” It’s getting the cold shoulder and not being welcome in a group.

“I remember that hurting me very much,” he says and adds: “If that happens to you, you should remember, it’s not anything you did.”

He also adds: “You’ll have fun as an adult, I promise.

    I love watching Bill Maher, and I love his message here, but sometimes his humor can be cruel…just saying.
