ABC drops “Charlie’s Angels”

By Kim Palacios

hollywoodnews.com: Despite the success of the movie franchise, the new television version of “Charlie’s Angels” has not commanded sufficient ratings to remain on the air. ABC has announced that the show, which is written by the creators of “Smalville,” will stop production, effective immediately. Only four episodes have aired, and at least one more will do so until ABC finds new programming for the “Charlie’s Angels” time slot.
