Coldplay’s Chris Martin thought he might be gay as a teen
HollywoodNews.com: When he was younger, Coldplay front man Chris Martin was such a big fan of the British by band Take That made him question his sexuality.
“U2 and five handsome, strapping men from Stoke and Manchester. I’m not afraid to admit it, they made me ask the question ‘Am I gay?’” Martin said earlier this week at The Q Awards in London.
Martin, who is married to Gwyneth Paltrow, made the remark while presenting a trophy for songwriting to Gary Barlow, a member of Take That.
Martin rarely speaks about Paltrow, the mother of his two children, publicly and he joked on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this week that the Oscar winner has “been a great beard for me now, for 10 years.”
