Christian Bale reveals he is done with ‘Batman’ films Fans may really enjoy Christian Bale as Batman, but they will only have one more film to enjoy him.

Bale recently revealed that he is done starring in the ‘Batman’ films, states “I wrapped a few days ago so that will be the last time I’m taking that [Batman hood] off,” Bale commented.

And he isn’t the only one who is done: “Everything’s finished. It’s me and [director Christopher Nolan] — that will be the end of that Batman era.”

‘The Dark Knight Rises’ will reportedly be in theaters on July 20, 2012.

Are you sad they are done?

indeed as a longtime batman fan its sad to see both bale&nolan pull the plug on the dark knight. but all good things must come to an end. thanks for making the magnificent batman trilogy(which I’m certain will be a classic)&restoring batman the stature and respect he deserved but never got in his previous incarnations on tv and the silver screen
