Meryl Streep participating in online Q-and-A Tuesday for “The Iron Lady” – AWARDS ALLEY

By Sean O’Connell
hollywoodnews.com: Filmmakers and talent have been going out of their way this season to reach people. Jason Reitman and Diablo Cody bring the cast of “Young Adult” to select markets. Steven Spielberg does a “War Horse” Q-and-A that’s beamed to the top cities following a Sunday afternoon screening. And now, Meryl Streep and Phyllida Lloyd are hosting “The Iron Lady” discussions online for interested parties, so feel free to tune in.

The Weinstein Company announced that following an upcoming advanced screening of “The Iron Lady,” they will feature a live Q-and-A session with Streep and Lloyd. The event will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 6, following a screening at the DGA Theater in New York City that will begin at 7 p.m. ET.

My friend and colleague, Scott Feinberg of The Hollywood Reporter, will moderate a session that will be streamed online at approximately 8:45 p.m. ET, following the screening. Film fans across the country will be able to submit questions and participate in a discussion with Streep and Lloyd on the making of the film. Users can submit questions at Ironladymovie.com and facebook.com/theironladymovie.

The film opens in select U.S. theaters on Dec. 30 and expands on Jan. 17. Streep co-stars with Jim Broadbent, Harry Lloyd, Olivia Colman, and Alexandra Roach. It is written by Abi Morgan and produced by François Ivernel, Damian Jones, Adam Kulick, Cameron McCracken, Anita Overland, Tessa Ross, and Colleen Woodcock.

I absolutely love Meryl Streep! By the way, I own 42 of her films and I love them all. I was just wondering where Meryl Streep keeps all of her awards? Also, how is she so perfect and delightful all of the time?
    Best regards, Rachel
