“The Artist” having big Sunday, wins New York Film Critics Online – AWARDS ALLEY

hollywoodnews.com: While the L.A. crix were busy announcing their year-end selections, the New York Film Critics Online were gathered on the opposite coast handing out its annual awards. They mirrored the Boston Film Critics, going with “The Artist.”

Director Michel Hazanavicius also took home Best Director, while acting nods went to Michael Shannon and Meryl Streep.
