“Dark Knight Rises” footage coming to following theaters

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Batman fans don’t give a damn about “The Artist,” “The Descendants” or the Golden Globes. They care about Christopher Nolan, “The Dark Knight Rises” and – for this weekend, at least – Tom Cruise and his latest “Mission: Impossible” movie.

That’s because the seven-minute prologue to Nolan’s anticipated sequel will be attached to “Ghost Protocol” in select IMAX theaters across the country beginning later today, when the fourth “M:I” movie opens. (And Brad Bird’s breathtaking action movie is worth your time, anyway, so now you are getting double the bang for your buck.)

Not every IMAX location will carry the footage, however. But we’ve got you covered. If you live anywhere near these spots, you will be able to see “The Dark Knight Rises” prologue, which will feature your introduction to Tom Hardy’s menacing Bane. The rest of us likely will watch it on YouTube Friday morning.
