“The Hunger Games” poster hits

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Ironically, I just hung up the phone with Woody Harrelson, and while we focused mainly on his ferocious turn in “Rampart,” I had to ask a few questions about “The Hunger Games.”

And now, a poster!

Clearly, Gary Ross’s adaptation of the best-selling futuristic novel is one of the most anticipated movies of 2012 (which we’re looking forward to with more frequency now that 2011 us drawing to a close). The first trailer, which introduced Jennifer Lawrence grisly heroine, set the stage. And now, this poster teases the film’s massive scope.

This is going to be huge.

“The Hunger Games” stars Lawrence, Harrelson, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks and Stanley Tucci. It opens everywhere on March 23.
