Seth Rogen pitching spy comed “The B Team” at Disney

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: We’ve seen “The Other Guys” in action. Now Seth Rogen would like to introduce a secondary spy unit known as “The B Team.”

The comedian is developing a pitch at Walt Disney Pictures that he’ll produce and potentially star in, according to Variety. Rogen would play the leader of a second-tier spy team that has to snap into action when their elite agent is kidnapped.

Yep, that sounds a lot like Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg’s “Other Guys,” only with spies instead of police officers. Which is fine, so long as Rogen thinks outside the box and finds new avenues to explore in the spy comedy.

We’re very early in the process, though, so “B Team” likely will be far off. In the meantime, Rogen fans will be able to see him opposite Barbara Streisand in the mother-son comedy “My Mother’s Curse” next year.
