Lady Gaga opens up about her past eating disorder

HollywoodNews.com: Lady Gaga hasn’t always been as confident as she seems these days, and she recently opened up about the more difficult times in her life.

Gaga was at the It’s Our Turn conference held at a California school when a girl asked her about how to deal with body issues, states RadarOnline.com. And Gaga could more than relate to the young girl’s struggles.

“I used to throw up all the time in high school. So I’m not that confident. I wanted to be a skinny little ballerina, but I was a voluptuous little Italian girl whose dad had meatballs on the table every night,” Gaga admitted.

But, she was able to give the girl some simple advice: “It’s really hard, but … you’ve got to talk to somebody about it.”

Do you think Gaga is helpful to young people?
