Celine Dion comments on drugs killing Whitney Houston

HollywoodNews.com: Although the cause of Whitney Houston’s death has not been confirmed, Celine Dion apparently feels pretty strongly about drugs being the reason the legendary singer’s life came to an untimely end.

Dion spoke with ‘Good Morning America’ about the loss and why she feels it happened so soon in Houston’s life, states UsMagazine.com. “It’s just really unfortunate that drugs, bad people, bad influences took over her dreams, her motherhood,” Dion commented about the death.

Dion also commented that drugs are an ongoing problem in the industry that harms too many lives: “That’s why I’m scared of show business, of drugs and hanging out. That’s why I don’t go to parties!”

It is rumored that prescription drugs may have been the cause of death although it has not been confirmed.

Celine and Whitney shared parallel cworld-class careers for most of their iives. Each grossing multi million dollar contracts. With that opens doors to people/parties where anything is available. Celine chose to look the other way.

She has every right to her opinion, she is INSIDE this industry and knows at their level what is going on. That said, Whitney is one of the most beautiful and talented women I have ever seen. I chose to remember her as just that like the first time I saw her perform live when she was in her early twenties. Magnificient.
