Meryl Streep donates $10K to charter school supported by Viola Davis

HollywoodNews.com: Meryl Streep has been lucky enough to win an Oscar this weekend, but she is giving back by donating $10,000 to a bankrupt charter school that Viola Davis supports in her hometown of Central Falls, Rhode Island.

Streep reportedly donated the money on behalf of her foundation, Silver Mountain Foundation for the Arts, states UsMagazine.com.

“We’re excited Meryl Streep has gotten the ball rolling for us, but we recognize there’s a long road ahead of us,” Angelo Garcia, the founder and director of operations at the Segue Institute for Learning, commented about the wonderful donation.

What do you think about her donation?
