‘Hunger Games’ sequel, ‘Catching Fire,’ may have a director
HollywoodNews.com: As ‘Hunger Games’ director Gary Ross needed to be replaced for the sequel, ‘Catching Fire,’ in order for it to move forward, it looks like the process has started.
It is rumored that director Francis Lawrence will likely take over as he has reportedly been given an offer, states UsMagazine.com. And while the deal has not yet been signed off on, Lawrence is expected to move forward and on board with the film.
The studio is reportedly hoping to film this summer and release the film in November 22, 2013.
Francis has previously directed the films ‘Water for Elephants,’ ‘I Am Legend’ and ‘Constantine.’
