Ashton Kutcher’s Popchips ad pulled due to racial issues

HollywoodNews.com: Popchips and Ashton Kutcher just released a commercial, but it has already been pulled due to some racial issues.

The ad was reportedly pulled as there were allegations of racism as Kutcher wears brownface makeup to play a Bollywood producer named Raj, states TMZ. Many people were upset about the ad and think what was done in the commercial was a bit questionable.

Popchips CEO Keith Belling did comment on the ad after taking it down: “We did not intend to offend anyone. I take full responsibility and apologize to anyone we offended.”
