‘Housewives of NJ’ fight over the word jail

HollywoodNews.com: Apparently there is one thing you do not want to say in New Jersey and that is the word jail, even if someone has been to jail.

On the latest episode of ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey,’ the women got to fighting as Melissa Gorga let the jail word slip, states RadarOnline.com. While speaking with Teresa Giudice, Melissa referenced jail as Teresa’s husband recently spent time there, but that comment was unwelcome.

Teresa instantly got up and left the conversation after the word was spoken.

Cast member Kathy Wakile later explained why this got such a big reaction: “In Jersey we say, ‘Going away’ instead of ‘Going to prison’ because it’s old school. It’s a matter of pride and trying to protect your family. It’s a Jersey thing.”

What did you think about the fight?
