Simon Cowell allegedly worried about Britney Spears on ‘X-Factor’

HollywoodNews.com: Simon Cowell and ‘X-Factor’ are spending a lot of money to have Britney Spears as a judge on the show, but now it seems this may have been a gamble.

It is rumored that Cowell is worried about Spears’ recent actions on the show now that filming has started, states UsMagazine.com. Not only have her rumored walk-offs been a problem, but it seems she is not the best judge.

Cowell is allegedly bothered by her being so nice to everyone. She reportedly gives high praise to even mediocre contestants who certainly can’t cut it.

Do you think she will be good on the show?

What a total joke. The only thing wrong with this is that Simon Cowell has no musical ability beyond playing an ipod. He hired Britney Spears to up his ratings for an already boring, contrived show (a total rip-off of Simon Fullers American Idol). This article by HollywoodNews.com is simply a joke. Simon probably paid his publicist to make the “worried” vibe viable as we really don’t care about this series. Sure, he was smart in bringing in Brittney as we all want to see the, “Britney Freak Show” and this “worried” vibe is nothing more than a stab at getting people to watch the show. Britney is a Disney/ Zomba-Jive created pop star. Not a record producer, not even a vocalist…. but an entertainer fabricated to sell records in the 90’s. Simon’ is a good business man…. But wake up people. He couldn’t find the master fader in a studio if he tried. If you want a real competition series to find true artists, hire real record producer’s and song writers who have developed their crafts for the last 30 years. Not “Poser” record people (i.e. Puala Abdul, etc..) LA Reid has done some good things but, but but. The kicker, I posted this on the hollywoodnews.com blog and they deleted me and my post. Goes to show people…. there is ALWAYS a man behind the curtain pulling strings…. This is why these shows continue to produce mediocrity (because we buy it and continually lower the bar) and why most of us know talent more deserving of what these stupid “Locust mentality – A&R” shows accomplish. My point? The title of this article is the biggest BS I’ve seen all year. Simon’s worried about the 250+ million he has earned in the last 5 years. Really?…. wait a minute….Really? I really doubt it. He’s counting on everyone to watch Britney “fail” and is counting on the drama for ratings, because the show certainly needs it. Either way the series wins. Don’t be fooled people…. and thanks to Molly Sullivan at HollywoodNews.com for being a true “journalist” for showing all sides of the story… (NOT) Total Fail. My rant for the day….
