This year marks the fifth year Diet Coke will play an active role in The Heart Truth ® campaign. Minka Kelly will join Diet Coke and walk the Red Dress runway in a custom Diane von Furstenberg dress.

Diet Coke fans walked their own virtual runway by using their social networks to “show their hearts” for the cause and entering to win a chance to attend the annual Red Dress Collection Fashion Show. Using the hashtag “#ShowYourHeart,” people shared photos of themselves wearing red via Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram. The entries were judged, and the five best photos were selected. Minka Kelly then judged the five winning photos to choose one grand prize winner, who received a shopping spree with a style expert. All five winners will be attending this week’s event.

“I loved the creativity the winners showed in their photos, and now I can’t wait to show off Ms. von Furstenberg’s creation and raise awareness at the Red Dress Collection Fashion Show,” said Minka Kelly. “Heart health is important for women of every age, and it’s up to each of us to help spread the word to the women we love.”

In addition to the dress Minka Kelly will be wearing in the Fashion Show, Diane von Furstenberg created a limited-edition collection of Diet Coke aluminum bottles featuring her iconic prints. Cruz will reportedly be on a 70-foot billboard near New York City’s Penn Station that will have her telling others to “Give Fur the Cold Shoulder,” states UsMagazine.com. And PETA couldn’t be happier with working with Cruz.

“Penelope has appeared on every ‘best-dressed’ list in the world, and the one thing you’ll never see her wearing is fur,” PETA’s Senior VP Lisa Lange commented.

Other stars like Elisabetta Canalis, Taraji P. Henson, Khloe Kardashian and Bethenny Frankel have taken part in PETA ad campaigns.

Kim raised the money when she visited the Cantor Fitzgerald offices in New York and went to work on the trading floor, states UsMagazine.com.

Kim previously commented on her blog about the event: “The firm lost more than 600 employees in the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001 and on the 10th anniversary of the attacks, they donated all revenues from their trades to charities around the world.”

Everything from ‘I’ve never owned a pair of Louboutins’ to ‘I’ve never met Ryan Gosling,’” Rancic said about wanting to use her luck to help others.

And it seems her husband, Bill Rancic, is already coming up with great ideas to help: “Bill actually came up with the cutest name: Fab-u-wish.”
