It was probably a little bit too old school. During the 70's, JC had yet to revolutionize fight choreography by changing the rhythm of the moves. If you notice, the fights in the first DM had a constant pace. You could almost imagine the actors saying "one, and two, and three, and four..." in their heads. Compared to DM2, the pace is ever changing and unpredictable.

I wonder why James didn't include the last fighting scene from the first Drunken Master. In fact, all fights in the first DM are incredible.

No matter what movie jackie stars in, most of them are just very exciting and fun to watch, and best of all, he does most of all his scenes.

Yeah man, the Forbidden Kingdom was pretty cool. Though id like them to have more fight scenes together, having Jackie and Jet take on a bunch of bad guys together Dragons Forever style would be cinematic gold. Have Wu Jing or someone playing the main villian.
