Hawn recently took to Twitter to let everyone know that it was just a slip of words that made a rumor get out of control, states UsMagazine.com. “Darling, once again twisted the truth. They aren’t married. . . They never get it right,” Hawn commented.

Confusion over Kate Hudson marriage rumor

HollywoodNews.com: Kate Hudson is believed to be married to Matt Bellamy after her mom, Goldie Hawn, gave an interview where she commented that her daughter had married an English rocker.
However, there is now a rumor that it isn’t even true as Hawn just uses that language as she always has with her beau, Kurt Russell, as she calls him her husband even though they never married, states UsMagazine.com.
It is now believed that Hudson didn’t secretly marry the father of her second son, but that Hawn just had a slip of words.

Goldie Hawn reveals Kate Hudson is apparently married to Matt Bellamy

HollywoodNews.com: It looks like Kate Hudson has not only had a child with Matt Bellamy, but the two have apparently also gotten married at some point.
Goldie Hawn was speaking about her children when she let it slip that Hudson and Bellamy had already tied the knot despite there being no public knowledge of it, states RadarOnline.com. “When my daughter Kate married an English rock star [Matt Bellamy] it didn’t worry me; all that matters is that the relationship is a good one,” Hawn commented.

Early “War Horse” reactions are positive – AWARDS ALLEY

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of the Tony Award-winning “War Horse” started grassroots screening in small markets last night. They’ll continue this evening. And while the reactions are from John and Jane Q. Public instead of dyed-in-the-wool Oscar analysts, they’ve largely been favorable. Which probably is what Disney was looking for.
“Would def recommend War Horse to anyone who asks. Great movie, well worth the 2:20, never felt like it though. Very evenly paced,” Tweeted @MetalTodd from Cleveland, Ohio.
“I’ll be giving a full review early tomorrow (I need to let this brilliant film sink in a bit more), but I am DEFINITELY giving it 5/5. Actually, I’ll go farther than that. This was a masterpiece. This should be one of the top 2-3 during Oscar season. All the hype we were hoping for was well-deserved. Outside of the first 30 minutes being a tad “eh,” the rest of the film is the best I’ve seen of Spielberg in years. Some of the greatest scenes I’ve seen in his career. I’m going to go as far as to say that it’s my second favorite Spielberg film after “Schindler’s List.” First chance you get, go see it. There should be quite a few ore screenings leading up to its late December release. A+++!!” was the enthusiastic response from Emailjnm on the IMDB message boards.
“The movie was FANTASTIC! War Horse was awesome. A must-see,” adds @PensNucksDenver.
So, not exactly Variety, but reactions from the people. Spielberg, no doubt, turned the award-winning material into a crowd-pleaser. We just want to know if it’s going to be an Oscar-pleaser, as well.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick attended American Museum of Natural History

HollywoodNews.com: Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick learned a lot about dinosaurs last night. So did about 200 people who came to the American Museum of Natural History to support Mike Nichols and Cynthia O’Neal‘s 20 year old charity, Friends in Deed. Legendary composer Stephen Sondheim created a treasure hunt game with the museum folks, and he was there to watch as all of us scurried through the various dino halls to figure out answers to things like “parrot beak” and “giant sloth.” Once you found the appropriate fossil and filled in the blanks of its name on clue cards, the answers were then drafted down to a single sentence.
Team Number 8–with writer Patti Bosworth, Broadway legend Phyllis Newman, and man about town Joe Armstrong–kept colliding with Team 4– SJP, Broadway star John Benjamin Hickey, and Bravo’s Andy Cohen. Phyllis Newman, luckily, goes back a long way with Sondheim so she knew how to play the game. She guessed the answer early, but everyone was too excited to pay attention. The winning team got to take home a Motorola Xoom tablet. Later everyone dined in the Planetarium and listened to songs from Broadway stars Melissa Errico (who has a new album coming out next week produced by Phil Ramone) and Raul Esparza.

Steven Spielberg will get Producers Guild Award

HollywoodNews.com: I can’t believe it’s taken this long, but Steven Spielberg is finally getting the Producers Guild Award. It’s an honorary prize named after legendary David O. Selznick.
Spielberg will get the award on January 21st, right in the middle of Oscar season–in fact just days before the Academy Award nominations are announced. He may very well be up for some with his film version of “War Horse.” Past honorees include Stanley Kramer, Saul Zaentz, Clint Eastwood, Billy Wilder, Brian Grazer, Jerry Bruckheimer, Roger Corman, Laura Ziskin, Kathleen Kennedy & Frank Marshall , John Lasseter. Last year, Scott Rudin got the award in the middle of his big season with “The Social Network” and “True Grit.” This year Rudin is bringing “Moneyball”–a great movie which everyone has to see–to the Oscar dance. Congratulations to Spielberg, who’s probably the most famous movie maker in the world. But he’s also done an enormous amount of good with his Shoah project and other philanthropies.

Steve Spielberg in Philly for Shoah Foundation dinner

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Steven Spielberg will be in Philadelphia Monday night, but it has nothing to do with scouting locations for his next blockbuster.
Instead, the Oscar-winning director will attend the USC Shoah Foundation Institute’s fundraiser honoring Comcast CEO Brian Roberts.
The Philly Daily News reports that Spielberg is expected to tour the city’s National Museum of American Jewish History during the day. The director’s Righteous Persons Foundation donated $1 million toward the museum’s construction efforts in 2008, “donat[ing] his first 8mm film camera to be displayed at the museum, which opened at its new home in November.”
The paper reports that Jon Bon Jovi “will perform at tonight’s benefit for Shoah, which works to preserve memories of Holocaust survivors and those of other genocides.”

“American Idol” alum Katharine McPhee lending voice to “Smash”

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: As “American Idol” continues to weed out the competition for its 10th season, a former “Idol” contestant has found a new gig.
Katharine McPhee is the latest performer to join the cast of “Smash,” an NBC pilot produced by none other than Steve Spielberg. Debra Messing and Jack Davenport (of “FlashForward”) already have been cast as a lyricist and choreographer, respectively, working with a group of characters hoping to stage a Broadway musical inspired by the late Marilyn Monroe, THR reports.
Now we understand where McPhee’s considerable talents will fit in.
Naturally, “Smash” is going to draw comparisons to “Glee,” and the new pilot certainly wouldn’t exist if not for FOX’s smash hit (pun intended). But the NBC show has talent backing it up. Besides Spielberg, playwright Theresa Rebeck receives credit for writing the pilot, while Michael Mayer (of “Spring Awakening”) will direct.

Kate Hudson’s mom, Goldie Hawn, talks baby on board

HollywoodNews.com: Kate Hudson has yet to discuss her pregnancy with beau Matthew Bellamy, but her mom, Goldie Hawn, can’t hold back her excitement.
Hawn revealed that she is “excited” to welcome a new grandchild to the family, states UsMagazine.com.
But Hawn didn’t reveal many more details other than just how great the pregnancy news is: “You know, we’re just all very happy… happy for them both.”
It is assumed that Hudson is about 16 weeks pregnant with her second child. She has a son with rocker Chris Robinson.
Do you think Kate Hudson will have a boy or girl?
