She has been meeting with multiple reps from rehab facilities, according to TMZ. Even though Lindsay spent time with each of them, the ultimate decision as to where she’ll go in California will be up to two court appointed psychiatrists.
It is still unclear whether Judge Marsha Revel will force Lindsay to go straight into rehab or whether she’ll have a couple days to spend with her family before checking in.

Kathy Hilton sympathizes with Dina Lohan

HollywoodNews.com: Paris Hilton’s mom sympathizes with Dina Lohan, as she knows what it’s like to have a daughter in prison.
Lindsay Lohan, 24, is serving a 90-day sentence in the same California prison that Paris Hilton, 28, was locked up in three years ago.
Paris’s mom Kathy told RadarOnline.com: “I have sympathy for Dina Lohan right now. I feel bad for any parent whose child is in jail, it can be really tough. Those days when Paris was in jail were some of the most difficult of my life – it is hard for any parent to deal with. Unfortunately, if you do not follow the rules then this is what can happen – it’s part of the rules of our society.”
She added: “I think Lindsay will learn from this experience. To be in a small cage like that by yourself certainly gives you time to think about things. And for the parent on the outside it is very hard, too.”

Pixar exhibit poised to open at Oakland art museum

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: With “Toy Story 3” riding high at the box office — tallying $380.5 million to become the highest-grossing picture of 2010 to date — Pixar seems poised for a celebration. According to a new release, that party starts Saturday, July 31.
On that day, the Oakland Museum of California will open the brand new exhibit “PIXAR: 25 Years of Animation.” A major exhibition, the collection will offer more than 500 works by the Pixar Animation Studios artists, including drawings, paintings and sculptures that illustrate the creative process and craftsmanship behind the studio’s beloved computer-animated films.
Some might remember this exhibit, which opened at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 2005 before embarking on a worldwide tour. But it’s finally coming home — or, at least, as close to Pixar’s home in nearby Emeryville, California as possible.
Expanding the presentation, however, will be the integration of relevant artwork and objects from the OMCA collections that expand the exhibition to include rare, 19th century Eadweard Muybridge motion study photographs, an early zoetrope, and interactive stations in the art and history galleries that unlock the creative process and history of animation.
But the centerpiece of the exhibit remains the concept drawings, sketches, paintings, maquettes, storyboards and colorscripts created for Pixar’s finest works, from the original “Toy Story” to recent hits like “Up” and “WALL-E.”
The “PIXAR” exhibit will showcase more than 500 artifacts, including many of the pencil drawings; paintings in acrylic, gouache, and watercolor; and sculptures that form the backbone of the computer-generated images (CGIs) for which Pixar has become internationally recognized.
In addition, a 208-page, full-color catalog accompanies the exhibition, published by Chronicle Books for OMCA. It is available exclusively atwww.museumca.org.
The exhibition opens on July 31, and runs through Jan. 9, 2011.

Julia Roberts and Richard Jenkins in new “Eat, Pray, Love” clip

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Those who love Christopher Nolan’s “Inception” — and there are hundreds of thousands of you out there — have been praising it for delivering adult-worthy entertainment to a summer box office that’s normally inundated with adolescent popcorn thrills. (Similar raves have attached to Lisa Cholodenko’s “The Kids Are All Right,” and rightfully so.)
And while we still have testosterone-laden flicks like “The Expendables” or the sophomoric antics of Will Ferrell and crew on tap for “The Other Guys,” grownups don’t have to take a backseat until autumn. Sony still has Julia Roberts in “Eat, Pray, Love” on the docket. Iit reaches theaters on Aug. 13, and is expected to appeal to date-night couples as well as dedicated fans of Liz Gilbert’s best-selling book.
Roberts stars as the author, an unfulfilled woman who walks away from her husband (Billy Crudup) and goes in search of herself. She finds love, companionship, and comfort in Italy, India, and Bali (who wouldn’t?), then converts her personal journey into an acclaimed memoir.
The female audience is a lock. Men, however, likely are hoping for a few story layers in which we can relate. The presence of true dudes Javier Bardem, Crudup, James Franco and Richard Jenkins raises expectations.
Speaking of Jenkins, the bearded actor appears in a “First Look” clip hosted on Yahoo that discusses meditation and teases audiences ahead of the film’s opening. Expect more news out of the “Eat, Pray” camp as Sony holds its press junket this weekend in California.
