HollywoodNews.com: Since 2008, Carrie Preston has portrayed Arlene Fowler on the HBO series True Blood.
The actress, who is married to Lost alum Michael Emerson, has made a really nice “It Gets Better” video for The Trevor Project that you should see – and share with anyone who might benefit from it.
In it, Carrie wisely encourages young people to seek out a “part of a community that’s humane, a part of a community that accepts people, a part of a community that loves people. And will love you for who you are.”

HollywoodNews.com: “True Blood” stars Anna Paquin, 28, and Stephen Moyer, 40, officially tied the knot this weekend in a private ceremony in Malibu, California that featured such celebrity guests as Elijah Wood, co-star Carrie Preston, and Michael Emerson, according to Us Weekly.
The onscreen couple found love on the “True Blood” set in 2008 and announced their engagement over a year ago in August 2009. Moyer proposed to Paquin on a beach in Hawaii with a ring he helped design himself. Explaining the Hawaii location, Moyer says, “There was a song in the first season, ‘White Sandy Beach in Hawaii,’ which was kind of funny and ironic. [It] all started out as a joke and then we decided to go to Hawaii.” The couple’s first kiss occurred onscreen.

HollywoodNews.com: So who’s the hottest guy on HBO’s “True Blood”?
Carrie Preston who plays Merlotte’s waitress Arlene Fowler was pretty much on the fence when asked the question by People magazine because — every guy is gorgeous on the vampire show.
On Joe Manganiello who plays the werewolf Alcide, Preston says “Yeah, his body is pretty amazing.”

“We all kind of marvel at Ryan’s body,” Preston tells People, “because nobody is quite sure how he gets that body.” The Australian thespian keeps in shape by running, hiking, surfing and racquet ball per Preston.
But overall, Preston says there’s a pressure in show business for male actors to always look good.
“At lunch I’ll hear the guys talking about how they’re staying away from carbs and what exercise they are doing and who their trainer is,” says the actress.
In sum, though according to Preston — “True Blood” guys take the beefcake: “We have some beautiful men of all different body types. All of them are attractive in different ways. We’ve got tall. We’ve got ripped. We’ve got more delicate.”

Hollywoodnews.com: On camera, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer’s “True Blood” characters make a lot of hanky panky, but off camera the engaged duo are quite professional about their relationship.
“They do keep their relationship to themselves. I mean, they’ll hold hands and they’re affectionate but it’s very tame,” actress Carrie Preston (waitress Arlene Fowler) tells People.
Immediately observed by other actors on the set is how Paquin, 28, and Moyer,40, are meant for each other.
Actress Kristen Bauer remarks that the couple’s romance doesn’t strain in balancing their personal and showbiz life: “That can be difficult but it doesn’t seem like it is for them at all. It feels like they’re such professionals and we’re all friends, so it feels very comfortable.”
With their finesse for punctuating American southern accents, it is interesting to know that both Moyer and Paquin hail from outside the U.S.: Moyer was born in Brentwood, Essex U.K. while Paquin is a Canadian born thespian who was raised in New Zealand.
