The Expendables 2 are back! Track ‘em, find ‘em, kill ‘em

HollywoodNews.com: They’re back! and it’s time to reload! Download the trailer for this summer’s highly anticipated sequel, THE EXPENDABLES 2, featuring more action (and explosions) than ever before! Everyone is expendable and the crew has a plan. Track ‘em, find ‘em, kill ‘em.

The Expendables are back and this time it’s personal…
Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren),Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) — with newest members Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) and Maggie (Yu Nan) aboard — are reunited when Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) enlists the Expendables to take on a seemingly simple job.
The task looks like an easy paycheck for Barney and his band of old-school mercenaries. But when things go wrong and one of their own is viciously killed, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time ? six pounds of weapons-grade plutonium; enough to change the balance of power in the world. But that’s nothing compared to the justice they serve against the villainous adversary who savagely murdered their brother.
THE EXPENDABLES 2 will be in theaters everywhere August 17th, 2012

‘Housewives of NJ’ star thinks reality TV has ruined her relationships

HollywoodNews.com: ‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ star Teresa Giudice certainly has a lot of drama going on in her life these days, but she thinks reality TV is to blame for much of the pain in her life.
Giudice apparently thinks that her new fame has ruined her relationships with friends and family, states RadarOnline.com. “Jacqueline basically attacked me on the show about a magazine article that said I was going to jail. She was upset that she hadn’t heard it directly from me, but I wasn’t going to jail … the whole thing was so ridiculous,” Giudice commented about the end of their friendship.
Giudice also thinks that having her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, on the show was a problem as she felt it was done behind her back: “I haven’t spoken to my brother since before Christmas. We haven’t gone this long without talking in my whole life! I’d have to say that reality TV ruined our family, and it’s a disgrace.”
What do you think about her situation?

Pixar reveals more Merida in arrow-slinging “Brave” clip

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Bow and arrows are going to be big this year. I can just see all of the archery sets sitting under the Christmas trees in December after Jennifer Lawrence’s “Hunger Games” heroine and now Pixar’s “Brave” star unleash their talents in movies coming out this year.
“Brave” centers on Merida, a red-haired Scottish warrior who’s brimming with confidence and absolute talent. The studio has done a decent job teasing their upcoming feature, including this full clip posted online this morning. We have it for you here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2BWfQoQSDbo
I’ve already forgotten “Cars 2.” And that’s a great thing. Granted, it’s very early, and there’s no telling if the rest of “Brave” will work. The film had some ups and down in pre-production, though that’s not abnormal.
Mark Andrews and Brenda Chapman receive co-direction credits on “Brave,” which reaches theaters on June 22, which has become Pixar’s slot of choice over the last couple of years.
What do you think of this clip, and of “Brave,” as a whole?

Tom Cruise is back! Mission: Impossible- Ghost Protocol

By Scott Mendelson
HollywoodNews.com: As is often the case, the last weekend of the year is basically a repeat of last weekend, both in general ranking and numbers, as the holiday weekend tends to keep drops low, if often absent. Mission: Impossible- Ghost Protocol led the pack of major Christmas and holiday releases that actually went up from last weekend. The Brad Bird spy thriller earned $31 million over Fri-Sun, with an eye towards a likely $40 million four-day holiday weekend. At the end of its third weekend, the first of which was IMAX-exclusive, the crowd-pleasing Tom Cruise vehicle will have grossed $140 million by Monday, which means it has already outgrossed the $134 million-grossing Mission: Impossible III. Overseas, the sequel is doing even bigger business, with a worldwide total of $324 million as we close out 2011. The $215 million gross of John Woo’s Mission: Impossible II is likely out of reach, but surpassing the $181 million gross from Brian DePalma’s Mission: Impossible is not only possible but plausible. Worldwide, the film is shaping up to be $600 million earner, the respective totals, speculative as they may be now, would make this film Tom Cruise’s third-biggest domestic grosser and his biggest worldwide earner ever. MI4 already ranks ninth on both lists.

Coming it at a strong second place was Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Both it and Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked debuted below expectations two weeks ago, but both have used the holiday season to pick up lost ground, proving again that the last two weeks of the year are great for leggy runs. Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows grossed $22 million, for a new total of $132 million. Combined with Monday’s grosses, that should put the second Sherlock Holmes picture exactly where the first was at the end of its New Year’s weekend, albeit with an extra seven days to get there. Point being, if the film can avoid complete collapse in the mostly barren January (and said mediocre January slate will boost every single film discussed here today), it may get closer to the $209 million domestic total of Sherlock Holmes than anyone thought possible two weeks ago. Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 earned $18 million for the weekend, giving it $94 million with the strong possibility of crossing the $100 million mark on [...]

Minka Kelly, Derek Jeter allegedly back on

HollywoodNews.com: It sounds like Minka Kelly and Derek Jeter might be ringing in the new year together as it is rumored that they are dating once more.
Kelly and Jeter were reportedly spotted at the Musee D’Orsay in Paris, France yesterday which would make it seem like they are spending the holiday together, states Hollyscoop.
Kelly was reportedly also in Paris for Christmas, so they might have even been together for that as well.
The two had dated for about three years until they split up late this summer.
Do you think they’ll end up together?
