“BULLY” it’s time to take a stand!

This Thursday join The BULLY Project and CNN for a day of action against bullying! Set your DVR’s for 10pm EST, as CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 will be debuting the hour long special “The BULLY Effect”, a chronicle of how BULLY as a raw, powerful documentary helped ignite an inspirational, grassroots anti-bullying social movement over the course of a year.

Kelsey Grammer bails on interview due to picture of ex being shown

HollywoodNews.com: Kelsey Grammer apparently really can’t stand his ex-wife, Camille Grammer, as he bailed on an interview with Piers Morgan because the CNN show aired a picture of her.
Morgan took to Twitter to explain why Grammer wasn’t on the show after producers aired the picture at the beginning of the show, states TMZ. “Kelsey Grammer saw a photo of his ex wife Camille in the open to our show and legged it. Extraordinary. Never had this happen before,” Morgan revealed.
He went on to add that he was looking forward to the interview and didn’t plan on causing any trouble with Grammer: “I like Kelsey Grammer personally, but this was a shockingly unprofessional thing to do. I wasn’t even going to mention his ex-wife!”
However, Grammer’s rep seems to think the whole story isn’t being told: “Piers needs to take responsibility for what he did to Kelsey. It’s called accountability.”
What do you think about what allegedly went on?

The rapper recently spoke with CNN about the issue and commented that he agrees with how President Obama handled the situation, states TMZ. “I’ve always thought it as something that was still holding the country back. What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love,” Jay-Z commented.
“That’s their business. It’s no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple,” Jay-Z added to his argument.

Kathy Griffin tells Jimmy Kimmel about her New Year’s Eve plans for CNN co-host Anderson Cooper

By Greg Hernandez
HollywoodNews.com: I’m going to be partying with friends in West Hollywood on New Year’s Eve so you won’t find me watching a television.
But you can be sure that the next day, I’ll be on YouTube watching the highlights from CNN’s coverage featuring the fun pair of Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper.
Kathy paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel this week and shared a list of goals she has for this year’s broadcast:
”My first goal is to get Anderson fired. Literally before midnight, somebody from CNN just says, ‘That’s it buddy, you’re out.’”
She wants to expose a breast during the broadcast: “If I can just whip one out on CNN…”
Then there’s this: ”I’m going to probably drunk dial Wolf Blitzer.”
And this: ”I’m going to give Anderson what’s called a rohypnol.”
And finally: ”I’m going to hog-tie Ryan Seacrest and hide him in a can of peanut brittle.”

You go girl!

Erin Burnett will take over CNN’s 7pm spot

HollywoodNews.com: Erin Burnett is about to take over CNN’s 7pm spot, and everyone is happy about it. On Tuesday night, the top brass from CNN tossed Erin quite a lovely pre-debut gala at Robert restaurant on Columbus Circle that was so packed with important peeps that it was almost frightening. My favorite moment: talking to Daily News publisher Mort Zuckerman and journalist Judith Miller, when all of a sudden a man arrived bringing Zuckerman a glass of liquid refreshment from the bar. It was none other than JP Morgan chief Jamie Dimon, who’d volunteered to snake through the packed room and return with beverages. How incredibly helpful!
And then Time Magazine’s John Huey and CNN’s Greg D’Alba were chatting, while Anderson Cooper, Erin Moriarty, ABC News’s Bill Blakemore, and Dan Abrams were all milling about. CNN was represented by chiefs Ken Jautz and Mark Whitaker, who greeted veteran White House reporter Bob Jamiesen, Connie Chung and Maury Povich, Gerry Byrne, Jill Brooke, Jami Floyd, Bonnie Fuller, CNN.com’s Susan Grant, Joy Behar and Piers Morgan. There was much talk about how well CNN is doing, beating MSNBC and finally gathering a head of steam under its new regime– a relief after a couple of years of reorganization.
Erin Burnett, by the way, is smart — and fun. Her show may indeed by the lynchpin CNN needed now that their other shows–Cooper’s 360, Piers Morgan etc–have all fallen into place.
