The Devil Wears Prada Unleash “Vengeance”

HollywoodNews.com: Ferret Music recording group The Devil Wears Prada have unveiled the first glimpse of their upcoming live CD/DVD. “Vengeance” will have its world premiere today on FEARnet TV, slated to air at 2 pm ET/11 am PT, while simultaneously debuting online via the popular cable channel’s official website, located at www.fearnet.com/news/b25636_exclusive_devil_wears_prada_premiere.html. The as-yet-untitled CD/DVD will arrive in stores everywhere on June 26th.
“Vengeance” was filmed last December at The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts during the first leg of The Devil Wears Prada’s ongoing “Dead Throne” tour. A new series of shows will kick off tomorrow, March 9th, at The Castle Theatre in Bloomington, Illinois, with dates continuing through early April (see attached itinerary). Support on all dates comes from Every Time I Die, Letlive., and Oh, Sleeper.
The Devil Wears Prada will then head down to Latin America for a headline tour alongside fellow metalcore heroes, Whitechapel, with stops slated for Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Columbia, and Mexico. “DEAD THRONE” made a spectacular chart debut upon its September 2011 release, entering Billboard’s “Top Independent Albums” ranking at #1 while also hitting the top 10 on the overall Billboard 200. The album – The Devil Wears Prada’s fourth full-length release – received universal critical applause, with the ever-influential Kerrang! hailing its “dramatic dynamic shifts and a defter blend of melody and muscle, making this by far the best album the Ohio outfit have yet produced.” In its 9-out-of-10 rave, AbsolutePunk.net praised “DEAD THRONE” for possessing “a sense of urgency and maturity here that few in the genre will be able to replicate” before officially declaring it to be “the best metalcore album of the year”.
The Devil Wears Prada next unleashed “Zombie Slay,” a first-person, multi-level action game available for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, and Android mobile devices. The game – which is currently on sale for $.99 and available for download via the iTunes Store [...]

Blink-182 angers Euro fans with U.S. tour announcement

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Pop-punk superstars Blink 182 and My Chemical Romance announced a co-headlining tour this August and September that will crisscross the United States. The bands will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Honda Civic Tour, a tour Blink helped launch in 2001.
“It’s great to be going back out on the Honda Civic Tour,” Blink bassist Mark Hoppus said in a statement. “We had a blast kicking off the tour 10 years ago, and this summer we’ll be taking it to the next level with our friends My Chemical Romance.”
But not everyone is pleased. Blink fans in the UK and Ireland are upset because the band was supposed to tour there on the first leg of a tour, but delays with the recording of the band’s forthcoming album meant that portion of the trip had to be postponed. Enough fans complained that Hoppus had to respond on Facebook, stating:
“Hello fellow humans in the UK and Europe. I understand your confusion and frustration at hearing the US tour announcement tonight. Here’s what’s up. This tour was booked ALONGSIDE the UK/European dates, a long time ago. We did NOT book the US tour after deciding to postpone the UK/European dates. The plan was to finish the album, tour the UK/Europe, and then come back for the US tour. We ran late on when we thought we’d finish the album, and unfortunately the time we needed made the first leg impossible.
Hopefully it’s for the best, because some of the best work on the album is being done these past few weeks. Now there’s a hard deadline for the album to be turned in, and it will be released during our US tour.
That’s what’s up. I get and share your anger at the postponement of the first leg of the tour. As we’ve said before, it wasn’t a decision lightly made. At all. But don’t think for a second that we decided to tour the US instead of the UK. It’s not the case. For me personally, I can’t wait to get back across the pond. With new songs and a new show.
And lastly, Chelsea Football Club rules. Those who disagree are just jealous, or something.
So Blink and My Chemical Romance will be out on tour later this summer, and likely touring the UK and Europe after. Here are the announced dates so far:
