HollywoodNews.com: David Arquette is apparently on great terms with his ex, Courteney Cox, as he will be guest starring on her ABC show ‘Cougar Town.’

He will allegedly be a part of the Season 3 finale as the network has confirmed along with his own confirmation over Twitter, states UsMagazine.com. “Can’t wait to work with you ladies!” Arquette tweeted to Cox and Christa Miller.

He will reportedly be playing a hotel concierge who will be around to help Cox’s character with all her needs.

Apparently during an upcoming episode of “Cougar Town,” a character on the show is going to give out a telephone number, and if audience members pick up their phone and dial, they might get a chance to talk to Courteney Cox or one of the show’s other cast members.

People reports that this in-the-moment telephone conversation will take place during the Monday, April 18, episode of the show, which will air at 9:30 p.m. ET.

“The surprise will be who picks up the phone. It may be Cox, or any of the show’s other stars like Busy Phillips, Josh Hopkins, Ian Gomez or Christa Miller,” People notes.

But how? Is the show live? Will the stars stop to talk to whomever calls in? This boggles the mind. It has to be a bit. But “Cougar Town” has proven clever enough to pull off an interactive trick like this. And if shows like “30 Rock” can do live episodes for both coasts, why can’t “Town” encourage people to call in.

I just hope we don’t get a prime-time Bababooey joke.

HollywoodNews.com: For the first time since the gossip broke, Courteney Cox has spoken publically about her break-up with hubby David Arquette.

“I don’t know what will happen, but this is not like we’re getting divorced,” Cox tells TV Week. “This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage . . . Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us.

“Sometimes you just realize ‘Wow, we actually have grown apart,” she says.

Cox even went so far as to comment on Arquette’s loose lip comments on Howard Stern’s Sirius Satellite Radio Show recently.

“[David] is a kook. It’s not shocking and Howard Stern he loves him and I’m a fan of Howard Stern . . . David is an entertainer and I’m sure the people who listen to the radio are entertained by his stories,” said the “Cougar Town” actress.

Cox also revealed that her former “Friends” co-star Jennifer Aniston has been a big shoulder for her during these trying times.

HollywoodNews.com: That David Arquette – he’s a talker. The actor, who recently broke up with his wife Courteney Cox, was caught running his mouth again on Howard Stern’s Sirius Satellite radio show.

Two weeks ago, Arquette wound up saying too much about his breakup with Cox, much to her chagrin, and he was impelled to apologize publically.

This time around, Arquette confessed to sleeping with two women – none of whom matched up to his wife, emotionally speaking. Apparently, one of them was a cocktail waitress, Jasmine Waltz, per the New York Daily News. Another was a blond Australian he hooked up with at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

“After the first girl I slept with … a few days later … I was, like, crying,” said Arquette, 39, “It was the end of all the intimacy I shared with my wife. It was like a new thing. It was like … putting that away.”

Arquette also confessed to drinking in the wake of his split with Cox.

Perhaps all this is a desperate plea to get Cox’s attention as Arquette revealed that he’s still in love with her.

Responding to Cox’ potential hook-up with “Cougar Town” co-star Brian Van Holt, Arquette said, “Any guy would be blessed to be with her.

“I don’t have any hard feelings for anyone,” he went on. “This is life and we are just going through it publicly.”

One enticing tidbit: Arquette and Cox never signed a pre-nup. Arquette reveals that the former “Friends” star is worth $100 million.

HollywoodNews.com: Although Jennifer Aniston’s appearance on her best friend Courteney Cox’s show ‘Cougar Town’ was highly talked about, it didn’t do much for the show’s ratings.

While ‘Modern Family’ was on the same channel before it and had 12.6 million viewers, ‘Cougar Town’ wasn’t able to hold onto more than four million of those people as it came in with 8.3 million, states UsMagazine.com. The premiere was third in its time slot and also down from last year’s premiere as it pulled in over 11 million viewers.

Looks like people didn’t really care to see the former Friends‘ stars reunite. Although, Aniston’s films haven’t been doing well either as her last flick, The Switch, only made $8.1 million the opening weekend.

Hopkins admits that the two are “just friends having dinner,” reports People. However, Hopkins doesn’t completely mind the dating rumors: “There are worse people to be in a rumor with.”

But just because the two weren’t on a date, doesn’t mean Hopkins didn’t pick up the check because he was raised as a “southern gentleman.” Looks like Aniston is still on the market.

HollywoodNews.com: It’s been questioned for some time if Jennifer Aniston would ever appear on her good friend Courteney Cox’s show ‘Cougar Town’ and now all the questions can be put to rest.

Aniston has been confirmed by ABC as a guest star on the September 22nd premiere episode this season, reports Hollyscoop. Aniston’s character will be Bonnie, who is the shrink for Courteney’s character.

Executive producer Bill Lawrence has revealed that she’ll be the kind of shrink who gets too involved in her patient’s lives, but reportedly has the lifestyle Courteney’s character wants.

Aniston also made an appearance on her best friend’s previous show Dirt in 2007.

HollywoodNews.com: “Friends” co-stars and amigas in real-life, Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, are set to get back together on the small screen again.

Aniston is nearing a deal to guest star on Cox’s ABC comedy “Cougar Town” (which is going to undergo a name change).

Aniston will appear in an early episode of the show’s second season which premieres on September 22.

Entertainment Weekly had the scoop.

The show’s executive producer Bill Lawrence told EW, “I would love for it to happen but there’s nothing to talk about yet.”

Aniston previously appeared alongside Cox in 2007 on her FX show “Dirt.”

Cox’s other “Friends” co-star Lisa Kudrow guest-starred as an angry dermatologist during the first season of “Cougar Town.”

HollywoodNews.com: “Glee” fever is so strong that it swayed Emmy voters who lauded the TV show with 19 nominations. But that wasn’t the only show to catch their eye: HBO’s miniseries “The Pacific” harpooned 24 nods.

In years past, the Emmys use to favor those series which were on the air for seasons on end, often times honoring them later in their run. But in recent years, the organization has become open minded to frosh shows, evident in its embrace of Fox’s “Glee,” ABC sitcom “Modern Family,” CBS’ “The Good Wife” and Showtime’s “Nurse Jackie.”

That said, the Emmys continue to have its favorites, i.e. “Mad Men,” “Breaking Bad” and “30 Rock.”

The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards will air on August 29 on NBC with Jimmy Fallon hosting from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. For the first time in 30 years, the awards show will air live all over the nation.

In terms of those series that aired season finales, Emmy voters favored ABC’s “Lost” in the top categories over Fox’s “24.”

New shows predominantly received some love in the supporting actor categories which saw a majority of the “Modern Family” cast in competition: Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen and Sofia Vergara were recognized. “Glee” co-stars Jane Lynch and Chris Colfer received nods. “Good Wife” co-star Christine Baranski was lauded.

The nominees for best reality included CBS’ “The Amazing Race,” Fox’s “American Idol,” ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars,” Bravo’s “Project Runway” and “Top Chef.”

Among those in the best variety, music or comedy series slot, Conan O’Brien from NBC’s “Tonight Show” will vie against seven-time winner Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” as well as “The Colbert Report,” HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher” and NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”

Some outlets are reporting a reduced number of snubs, but that’s not true, for they abounded — greatly. TNT’s drama-edy “Men of a Certain Age” and its leading man Ray Romano were shut out of the drama and best actor categories (though co-star Andre Braugher earned a supporting actor nod). FX’s “Justified” was unjustly not recognized. ABC’s comedy “Cougar Town” and leading gal Courteney Cox didn’t find a destination on the list. And HBO’s “Treme” and “Big Love” were overlooked.
