HollywoodNews.com: The 16th Annual Hollywood Film Awards, presented by the Los Angeles Times, is pleased to announce that three-time Academy Award nominated actress, Amy Adams will be given the “Hollywood Supporting Actress Award” for her performance in “THE MASTER”; editor Dylan Tichenor, A.C.E., will receive the “Hollywood Editor Award”; and production designer Sarah Greenwood, A.D.G., will be given the “Hollywood Production Designer Award.”
“We are very proud to recognize the films and work of this talented actress and accomplished artists,” said Carlos de Abreu, Founder and Executive Director of the Hollywood Film Awards.
The 2012 Hollywood Film Awards has also announced that it will honor director David O. Russell with the “Hollywood Director Award,” Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro with the “Hollywood Supporting Actor Award,” Academy Award-winning actress Marion Cotillard with the “Hollywood Actress Award,” producers Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner with the “Hollywood Producers Award,” writer/director Judd Apatow with the “Hollywood Comedy Award,” actor John Hawkes with the “Hollywood Breakout Performance Award” for “The Sessions,” and Quvenzhané Wallis with the “New Hollywood Award” for “Beasts of the Southern Wild.” Other honorees include cinematographer Wally Pfister and visual effects supervisors Janek Sirrs and Jeff White. In addition, director Peter Ramsey’s “Rise of the Guardians” will be honored with the “Hollywood Animation Award,” along with additional honorees to be announced in the coming weeks.
The Hollywood Film Awards Gala Ceremony will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on October 22, 2012. The event honors cherished stars and up-and-coming talent, and traditionally kicks off the film awards season with the biggest stars and top industry executives in attendance.
 
“We are very appreciative to be the first stop of the awards season. In the last nine years, a total of 85 Oscar nominations and 32 Oscars were given to the honorees of the Hollywood Film Awards,” said de Abreu.
 
Last year’s awards show reached a total TV audience of more than 41 million media impressions, in addition to more than 300 million online and print readers’ impressions.
 
Aside from celebrating accomplishments on screen, the Hollywood Film Awards established the “Hollywood Gives Back” program to expand and continue highlighting and assisting important local and national charities to raise funds. HollywoodNews.com: Anne Hathway hasn’t confirmed any wedding date rumors, but it sounds like she could be getting married as soon as this weekend.
It is reported that the actress and her fiance, Adam Shulman, will be getting married in Big Sur, states RadarOnline. Shulman and Hathaway will reportedly get married during a traditional Jewish ceremony.
Designer Valentino Garavani already commented that he designed the wedding dress she will be wearing for the big day.
Big Sur is also where Natalie Portman wed earlier this year in a small, private ceremony.

HollywoodNews.com: Anne Hathaway apparently already has one of the biggest decisions about her wedding made as she has reportedly decided on her wedding dress.
Designer Valentino Garavani reportedly confirmed that he designed her wedding dress for her big day with Adam Shulman, states UsMagazine.com. “She’s a very good friend of mine. She’s like my daughter,” Valentino said about their relationship.
In July, Hathaway had revealed that she hadn’t decided on a wedding dress yet: “I haven’t done the wedding dress thing yet. That’s somewhere in the future.”

HollywoodNews.com: Jessica Simpson has a lot on her plate these days as she is busy raising her newborn baby girl and thinking about planning her wedding with fiance Eric Johnson.
Simpson recently revealed that she wants her daughter to have the freedom to make choices like she did as a teenager, states UsMagazine.com. “I’m going to let Maxwell do what she wants to do. I mean, I’m definitely going to parent her the way my parents parented me . . . [but] when I was young, I was like, ‘This is what I want to do,’ and they supported me, and I was doing it by the time I was fourteen years old,” Simpson commented.
However, before the teen years get here, Simpson needs to get through planning her wedding: “I see it being definitely a destination thing and everyone celebrating and being able to dress up and having all of my bridesmaids looking beautiful in whatever designer they want to wear.”

HollywoodNews.com: Natalie Portman married Benjamin Millepied this weekend, and the lucky design she wore was a Rodarte wedding dress.
Portman wore a dress from the label designed by her good friends, Laura and Kate Mulleavy, states UsMagazine.com. The dress was reportedly a white A-line dress that included sheer sleeves.
Portman also reportedly wore flats with her dress along with a veil and a floral crown.
Rodarte has been working with Portman for some time now as the designers created her ‘Black Swan’ tutus along with the dresses she wore to the 83rd Annual Academy Awards and the 20120 Venice Film Festival.
Portman and Millepied had a traditional Jewish ceremony this weekend near Big Sur, California.

Now, Klum is revealing to ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ which celebrity she admires for her sense of style, states UsMagazine.com. “[Katie Holmes] has great style. She has her own style. She’s a designer … ” Klum commented.
And more than that, Klum is also a fan of Holmes’ line: “She has these very beautiful spaghetti-strap camisoles. I love them, and the line. Sometimes these very basic things are the hardest ones to find.”

HollywoodNews.com: Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are officially engaged as the stars have confirmed the rumors after Jolie was spotted wearing an engagement ring.
Pitt’s manager Cynthia Pett-Dante commented that the two are engaged and that Pitt did help design the ring as rumored, states UsMagazine.com. “Yes, it’s confirmed. It is a promise for the future and their kids are very happy. There’s no date set at this time. Brad designed the ring,” Pitt’s manager commented.
A rep for jeweler Robert Procop first broke the news that the designer had created the ring with Pitt for him to give to Jolie.

Lindsay reportedly has so many bills and such little income that she is selling a lot of her clothing, states Hollyscoop. Lindsay is reportedly selling the items to Los Angeles’ Crossroads Trading Company.
For some of her items, Lindsay reportedly received about $13,808.
Hopefully, Lindsay’s role in ‘Liz and Dick’ will help her past some of her rumored financial problems.

Kim Kardashian took to her blog to reveal that the girls are working on opening a Los Angeles store to go along with their original Calabasas location, states RadarOnline.com.
“This weekend Kourt, Khloe and I all met up with designer Jeff Andrews to start working on the new DASH LA store. Since we’ve opened DASH stores in Miami and NYC we decided that we want to re-vamp our west coast store and open a brand new LA location!” Kim revealed.

“BULLY,” the highly anticipated anti-bullying documentary (in theaters March 30th), has sparked a protest and now a movement, as a number of major movie stars, theater owners, and Members of Congress have joined forces to protest the film’s R rating. In a clear triumph for the film, Gerry Lopez, CEO of AMC Theaters, one of the most prominent theater chains in the world, spoke out against the R-Rating, saying, “To ‘automatically default’ BULLY is a mistake. Automatic default to a rating, a category, a genre… doesn’t matter, is a mistake. The message, the movie and its social relevance defy that kind of formulaic, conventional thinking. AMC will show this movie, and we invite our guests to engage in the dialogue its relevant message will inevitably provoke.”
Mr. Lopez is one of almost 300,000 people to get behind a petition started by a junior in high school named Katy Butler. Ms. Butler, who has experienced severe bullying herself, started the petition on Change.org after the MPAA ruled by one vote that “Bully” should receive an R rating due to six swear words. When Mr. Lopez asked one of his sons about the film, curious as to whether the debate had reached the demographic the film is geared toward, his son had already signed onto Ms. Butler’s petition.
The support from Hollywood has been on a steady increase since Katy Butler launched her petition. On March 20, Meryl Streep and her daughter Mamie Gummer will co-host a screening of the film with and David Boies, one of the two attorneys responsible for overturning Proposition 8 in California, and his daughter, Mary Boies. The screening will be held in New York City.
Johnny Depp has also signed on to lend his support; Ellen DeGeneres has devoted time to the film on her television show; and in the sports arena, Drew Brees, quarterback of the New Orleans Saints, has also added his voice to the movement.
