Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart allegedly not attending final conventions

HollywoodNews.com: It seems that ‘Twilight’ might be a little affected by Kristen Stewart cheating on Robert Pattinson as it seems that both will be passing on the final conventions for the film franchise.
It is being reported that both will not be attending the final four conventions that will promote the film, states RadarOnline. They will reportedly be passing on events in San Antonio, Detroit, Parsippany, New Jersey and Los Angeles.
However, they aren’t the only major stars deciding to opt out of the conventions as Taylor Lautner will also not be in attendance.
Are you sad they won’t be at the conventions?

James Franco Back to General Hospital?

HollywoodNews.com: Is Oscar nominee James Franco really returning to “General Hospital” this fall for an extended stay? That was the word that went out yesterday after TV Guide reported it. But I’m told that Franco was a little surprised by the announcement. He’s in Detroit filming a $100 million movie, “Oz, the Great and Powerful,” directed by Sam Raimi and taking up most of his time for the next few months. “Oz” is billed as a prequel to the “Wizard of Oz,” with co-stars Zach Braff, Michelle Williams, and Mila Kunis.
Unless “GH” is coming to Detroit, it’s unlikely that Franco can be too involved in the soap opera beyond a cameo. And that’s not all on his plate. He’s got his Yale PhD program in New Haven, poetry classes in North Carolina, and two art shows in New York scheduled for August–one at PS1 and the other at a small gallery in Soho. Plus, his many indie directed films–like “Sal” and “The Broken Tower” (which Focus Features expressed interest in)–are in various stages of preparation.
Franco told a friend of the “General Hospital” news: “I don’t know what that is about. Maybe down the road.” Maybe he can go back and forth from Detroit to Los Angeles in a hot air balloon, just like Oz the Magnificent!

Lady Gaga shy in sharing details of sexual past

HollywoodNews.com: While Lady Gaga seems pretty open and a bit wild, she is apparently a little hesitant in sharing details about some of her sexual past.
Gaga was asked on Detroit’s ‘Mojo In The Morning’ if she had ever had a threesome, but she was a little reluctant in discussing it, states RadarOnline.com. “Umm, well, I suppose I have yes,” Gaga said, adding that she didn’t want to reveal too much about it.
Gaga had a funnier threesome experience in a skit for ‘Saturday Night Live’ this weekend with Justin Timberlake and Andy Samberg.

Charlie Sheen continues “winning” in Ohio

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Against all odds, Charlie Sheen appears to have righted the ship that is the “My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not an Option” tour.
After a very rough Detroit launch — which featured boos, jeers and an exiting audience – Sheen has rebounded. Having tweaked the program’s format, Sheen now has received raves and standing ovations in Chicago, Cleveland and, Wednesday night, Columbus, Ohio.
“You came out to watch, and you didn’t know anything,” said a suddenly humble Sheen as he thanked the crowd for attending.
The Columbus Dispatch reports, “In his fourth stop on a 22-city tour, Charlie Sheen last night comfortably settled into a talk-show-style groove, interspersing bland, fuzzy anecdotes with his one-size-fits-all catchphrases that had reached water-cooler saturation long before the actor’s Palace Theatre debut.
“The 70-minute show had little muscle – or content. [But] by all accounts, it was certainly an improvement from his Saturday kickoff in Detroit, where the skeletal star was booed off the stage following a freestyle show.”
The Dispatch goes on to note that Sheen lacked the improv skills needed to keep the show bouncing along, and that his canned responses to audience questions may get tired as Sheen reaches the later stops on the tour.
But for now, whatever he is doing, it is working.

Charlie Sheen finds success once more with Cleveland show

HollywoodNews.com: Maybe Detroit was just a misstep because Charlie Sheen is now on a roll as he drove his audience wild in Cleveland.
Sheen reportedly received a standing ovation at the end of his two-hour performance, states TMZ. Sheen allegedly started the show by slamming Detroit and then once again used a moderator to give him questions.
The ‘Two and a Half Men’ star did reportedly have some hecklers, but he apparently handled them just fine. Sheen’s goddesses were reportedly also there and did make a stage appearance.

Charlie Sheen’s Chicago show already in trouble?

HollywoodNews.com: Charlie Sheen already reportedly bombed with his Detroit show and it seems Chicago may now be facing problems before it even starts.
It is rumored that there are still about 200-300 seats available for the show and people do not want to go, states TMZ. People who have already bought tickets are reportedly trying to quickly sell them after hearing what happened in Detroit.
However, Sheen probably isn’t too worried as he seems to think that everything he does is worth paying attention to.

Charlie Sheen’s ‘Torpedo of Truth’ booed by crowd

By Pat Ryder
HollywoodNews.com: Charlie Sheen took his show on the road, appearing at Detroit’s Fox Theater last night to perform in front of a sold out crowd. But his routine (named “My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not An Option”) seemed to sink like a lead balloon according to those in attendance.
The first reports of Sheen being booed came over Twitter during the actual show on Saturday, Apr. 2. Then, E!News reported that around the mid-point of Sheen’s routine, the crowd began hurling insults and a “steady chorus of boos.”
“Violent Torpedo” started with a warm-up act by comedian Kirk Fox followed by Sheen and his two “goddesses” Nat and Bree, but from that point on, the show seemingly devolved into poorly delivered skits and videos. The former “Two and a half Men” star even squeezed in poetry and rap during the 70 minute act.
Some fans reportedly walked out mid-show.
Tonight’s Sheen show in Chicago is still on, according to the latest news from TMZ. The real question is, why pay money to see something that was only marginally funny when it was free via web cam?
Were you planning to attend Charlie Sheen’s “My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat Is Not An Option” tour? If so, are you considering skipping it after reading the reviews?
